In 2016, at the conservatory of Enschede, the Netherlands, two musicians met. With a truckload of pre-written material at hand, they started playing whilst looking for other musicians. After a couple of failed auditions or show-ups the band was formed by five conservatory students and thus the band ‘Eleison’ was formed. Named after the ‘Kyrie Eleison’ and with a strong classical background we as a band had been trying to find a way to combine progressive songwriting, classical harmonization and harsh blastbeats and breakdowns.
After a couple years of recording and the coming and going of several musicians the core of the band had stayed to work out our first self-titled EP which is now available on iTunes, Spotify, Youtube and many other platforms!
